We collected several of our favorite words—directly from the Bible—to help people access God’s hope, strength and peace. We believe this book contains the most inspirational words of hope in existence.

There are many of hopeful words in the Bible.
Check out Psalm 130. The starting words are a call to people when suffer all kinds of difficulties: “Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord…”
What powerful words…out of the depths. That about sums up what it feels like to wrestle through a cancer diagnosis and the resulting journey.
This verse is also hopeful: “I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.”
People put their hope in the words of God, but not the words themselves, but the how the words reflect the faithful God they represent.

1 Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
2 Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.
3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,

so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
5 I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.

7 Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
for with the Lord is unfailing love
